DEHLINGER

Whether you’ve known about us for years or you’re having your first Dehlinger epiphany now, we’re glad you are here. There is much to explore and much to share with you. Half a century after our founding, we remain dedicated to producing wines of place for those who value craft.

deep roots

Since 1975, Dehlinger has been shaped by a long attention to one place. What began as a small planting on an old apple ranch has grown into a five-decade pursuit of understanding the land—guided by experience, patience, and a belief in the potential of the Russian River Valley.

our story

the Place

Close-up of a grapevine with clusters of dark purple grapes hanging among green leaves, supported by a wire trellis in a vineyard.

From soil to vine, every step is shaped by the land itself. Farmed entirely on our estate, the vineyard reflects a steady, hands-on approach built over time—where knowledge is earned, and each season adds to what we understand.

where it all happens
Red grapes are being crushed in a wooden press to make wine, with steam rising from the process.

our approach

Winemaking at Dehlinger is guided by a steady, deliberate approach—one that builds on decades of experience and a close understanding of the vineyard. In the cellar, each decision is made with care, allowing the character of the fruit to come through with clarity.

behind the wine

Dehlinger is shaped not just by place, but by the people who tend it. 50 years in to the project, we are still family-owned and human-operated.
