An Exceptional Site
Dehlinger is a 45 acre vineyard and winery on a ridge of red gravelly soil in Sonoma County's cool Russian River Valley. The alternating influences of California sun and fog from the Pacific Ocean 13 miles to the west create a hybrid climate favorable for hillside grape growing.
Family Owned and Operated
In 1975 Tom Dehlinger planted the initial 14 acres of vineyard and built a small winery. Today, daughters Eva and Carmen join Tom and Carole both in the vineyard and at the winery.
We give our estate vineyard extraordinary attention and care. We harvest each small part of the vineyard separately in order to monitor the unique qualities of its wine -- pruning, canopy management and thinning are adjusted to bring out the potential of each zone.
