Library Wines

Although our annual production averages 7000 cases, we have had a 15,000 case capacity bottled wine storage cellar as an integral part of the winery since the summer of 2003. It is dug ten feet into the ground and maintained at a temperature of 55°F year round. At the end of each year we review what older wines are in the cellar that we might release to our customers.

On the first of January we will offer a small selection of wines which have received additional bottle age in the cellar. White wines will be three or more years old, and red wines will be five or more years old. Some of the wines were deliberately set aside in quantities of 20 or 30 cases for this purpose. Others are the remnants of the 3 or 4 cases of each release that we normally set aside for our family or for special events that we don't manage to use up by ourselves. Some are small reserves that we maintain for restaurants that are now available for other purposes.

These wines are all very limited and are offered with strict limits, on this site only, on a first-come first-served basis. Ordering is accomplished by printing out the an order form (Available between January 1st and 5th each year) and faxing or mailing it to us. We will remove wines from the order form at the end of each day when they are sold out, but this is not instantaneous, so remember that all listed wines are subject to prior sale. Faxing is faster and surer than mailing.

To the extent that we can fill an order that we have received, we will charge your Visa or MasterCard on the day after it comes, and send a receipt by mail. Unless you give us other instructions, all wines will be packed together with any wines ordered from our February newsletter. If you propose shipping to a destination to which we cannot legally ship, we will call your contact phone number for another address. We are not able to ship outside the US .
