Positioned on a variety of exposures in Goldridge series soils, our Chardonnay vines were planted between 1975 and 1988. Careful leafing allows dappled light to reach the clusters and thinning to balances the crop load. The wine is aged in French oak barrels and undergoes full malolactic fermentation.

In recent years, we have bottled an "Estate Chardonnay" and a "See's Selection Chardonnay." The Estate Chardonnay is composed primarily of the Wente Clone, which produces small clusters and berries and has a notable minerality with an almost oily viscosity. The See's Selection bottling showcases the stonefruit and lovely floral aromatics of a portion of our Chardonnay vineyard.
