Vineyard Map

Each of our vineyard blocks is divided into several sub-blocks, shown on the map below as different colors. These management zones are based on changes in soil type, elevation, vine vigor, and fruit flavor. Each color on the map groups areas of similar vigor, as shown on the legend.

We use these sub-blocks to treat each separate area of the vineyard an individual. The zones are used to make differential pruning, thinning, and picking decisions. In many cases, we harvest and vinify the zones separately.
